Great place for pets
Excellent place, clean and the staff were great. We chose the option for walks and loved the photos. Very happy, will be back for sure.

Disgusted
We had 2 issues during our recent visit.
First issue one of our dogs suffered a bite during meal time when we had explicitly requested dogs to be separated during feeding. We weren't told about this until we were collecting the dogs which was quite a shock.
Second issue was during collection one of our dogs slipped its collar in an open area (gate was open to the road). Staff had used a lead connected to the collar to bring out the dogs. We always use harnesses for this very reason.
Hedgegrove management accepted no responsibility on either issue and put full responsibility on us as owners when 1) we were not there 2) we did not put the dog on the lead/check the harness/collar before taking dogs out of the kennel.
Overall care was good but management response/acceptance of responsibility to incidents was very poor and left a sour taste in the mouth. Absolutely not the way you want to end a holiday.
Will definitely be looking at other options for boarding our dogs next time.
UPDATE:
Again Hedgegrove management clearly taking no responsibility for incidents taking place on site, changing story to paint themselves in better light and blaming the customer for all problems. It is only when things don't go 100% right that you find out whether a business is more interested in protecting themselves and their interests or making things right for their paying customer.
Hedgegrove Management were given numerous opportunities to resolve the issues and make a happy customer, however saw no problem in charging full price/not providing all services invoiced and delivering a substantially sub-par customer experience.
Feedback was provided so that business practices/procedures could be improved, however this constructive criticism has been used as an opportunity to blame the owner/customer for poor training and fitting of equipment.

Never again...
Absolutely disgusting place. We called up to discuss our dog being in there for a week. When we arrived yesterday we were told we weren’t allowed to see their living arrangements (which by the way is locked in a cage all day except for 15 minutes) they charge a ridicolous amount for a walk and the add ons are way over priced. After the amount of bad feedback we received from friends and family we decided to pick our dog up this morning. He was only there for 16 hours and his smell was putrid. They are clearly living in their own filth. We then were charged 2 days which was not verbalised to us. I would never ever recommend this disgusting facility to anyone

This infuriated me!
Absolutely disgusted in this place and would never recommend to anyone ever!
Had my dog booked in for over a month and was on my way to dropping her off. Received a phone call to say they are closing at 5 even though I was informed it was at 6. Told them I was on the way and I would be less than 5 minutes. They told me sorry but were closed (couldn't even wait 2 minutes). On top of that, they told me I lost my deposit. I had to make last minute arrangements as I was going away in the morning.
Will never use this business ever again and will never recommend to anyone. Go to someone else. I would've gave a 0 star rating but it wasn't possible.
This infuriated me!

Love this place for both my Dogs & Cats. Clean, friendly and honest staff. My pets always come home happy and healthy.
By far the cleanest and biggest cattery I have seen.
