Nice facilities but price misquoted

My dog stayed here for 9 days. She appeared to be well looked after. The facilities are lovely, however the price I was quoted was not honoured. An extra day was added on when I picked up my dog, even though I was given a quote for morning drop off and afternoon pick up. Despite raising this with the staff member, my concerns were brushed aside. This left me feeling that should any problems have arisen during my pet's stay, it would have been difficult to deal with the staff.

Consistently great service

We've been boarding our cat at Calabash for several years now and the service has always been great. We've got a 13 year old Birman who is now experiencing some gastro-intestinal health challenges and who now requires a specialised diet plus some daily medications. Calabash have 3 standards of accomodation (we usually go for middle level 4 star). This time we also went for some 'brushing' on the first 2 days (it helps him to settle), and some extra playtime on the latter 2 days. Calabash did a great job managing his medications during his stay and he came home relaxed and happy. Linda (owner) has always been on top of any health issues and doesn't hesitate to contact his vet for guidance if there are any problems......thankfully none this time. It's great that we can confidently go on holidays knowing that any issues will be managed.
