Made my fussy boy feel right at home
I checked my 18 month old cat into Catspell last year while I went on holidays. Having heard terrible things about cat boarding, I arranged an inspection prior and was impressed.
Jarmila, the owner, took me through and showed me the different types of accommodation. She also introduced me to all the current cats boarding there, all by name, and was able to tell me about their attributes, their likes and how they spend their time. This impressed me as it shows she spends time tending to the cats and is a true cat lady at heart - just like me.
I opted for the larger of the two accommodation options as my boy has free run of the house at home. They supplied the same food as he eats at home and the same litter to help him settle right in.
During the trip, Jarmila contacted me to let me know how he was doing, and much to my surprise when I returned to pick him up he was happy to see me but not distraught and in a hurry to get home - he must have relaxed and enjoyed his stay.
I would definitely use CatSpell again.
