Excellent kennels
I disagree most strongly with the other posted review. +My dog has been staying at NPR for nigh on eight years,probably two or three times a year and I have only positive comments to make.She is always pleased when we arrive there she greets and is greeted by the staff with enthusiasm and trots off to the kennel area with barely a backward glance. On the few occasions she has needed veterinary care that has been attended to quickly and I have been informed. I have only positive experiences of this facility

Ongoing Lack of Care
VERY concerned that Rover wrote a report of injury and sub-standard care coming out of the Newcastle Pet Resort only yesterday! There have been injuries and deaths coming out of this place for years now and they have never revised their systems to prevent such outcomes. Too many dogs in too small a space with very inexperienced staff who clearly do not understand about dog behaviour and body language. The map and address you have for this place are now out of date. Their new residence (still producing injuries) is 575 Cabbage Tree Road, Williamtown.

Unsuitable
Dogs had to go to the vets due to dog attacks, artificial grass caused grass burns, dog kennels unsuitable due to sizing.

Kennel cough
My dog got kennel cough from being in there a one night trial. Cost me hundreds in vet bills. I would have been satisfied with a refund for the night stay. Obviously they’re not checking vaccinations.
