New owners are terrible
We loved Ivy's kennels and have used with no complaints for over four years, but the new owners have a rude, obnoxious, ignorant, incompetent woman answering the phone - I asked to speak to a manager or owner and was hung up on. The lady running the kennels (Eastern European accent, perhaps?) lied to my wife, saying she told me when I dropped the dogs off how much the stay would cost (because they only take cash we needed to withdraw money) and treated her rudely, presumably after the phone woman bitched about me complaining about her disgraceful attitude. So, never again. We'll drive the dogs to Perth rather than entrust our furkids to these half-*rsed cowboys.

The current owners have tried extremely hard to shake off the negatives left behind from previous circumstances prior to their takeover of the business, and have striven to continually make ongoing improvements to make our experience better

Picked up our dog earlier than expected. Obviously caught then by surprise. My dog was covered in feces and some bloody wounds, had diarrhea, was dehydrated. My suspicions as to why they refuse to let anyone inspect their holding pens were confirmed. Just because you get your animal back washed or cleaned on your expected return date doesn't mean they are being treated appropriately. I will never leave my pets at this boarding kennel again and if you care for your pet I urge you to seek alternative arrangements as well.

Disgusting customer service
Disgusting service. I don't know how this business is even qualified to care for pets. He was supposed to transport my pup to toowoomba airport but failed to pick her up over a period of 7 hours leaving her starving. Totally careless and didn't even bother to call to say he was not picking her up. Wouldn't answer the phone in that period of 7 hours.
Extremely irresponsible business.
