Will not be using this place EVER again

Extremely disappointed. Left our dog there Friday to Monday. WHAT A MISTAKE, - unfortunately I had not seen this site before hand. Due to our flight times and their opening times a friend dropped him off for us. Will NEVER leave him there again. They did ring me on Sunday top say he had a paw injury and they had put cream on it. Went to collect him on Monday the I was horrified, the place absolutely stank, the smell in the reception was bad but when they opened to door to get him it was worse. They brought him out wet and he was extremely smelly, requiring a bath immediately we got home. The 'sore paw' was actually a raw area on his paw pad. Unsure how this could happen. It needed antibacterial ointment or solution, like Neosporin and covering to keep clean and stop him licking it NOT generic cream and no covering Since being home he has just slept, not engaging and not urinating. The vet bill will be going to them. This is NOT a Pet resort and I not suspect the staff are not always on site.

dog boarding

We left our 2 dogs at the Arundel Pet Resort and we were very unhappy when we collected our dogs. They had been left there for 3 nights and we had to take them straight out for a bath as they stunk. They are poodles and have never smelt as bad as that. We left their beds there which also stunk. On the information we received they were supposed to be bathed which they weren't. We also booked and paid for a special room for them. From the smell of them I doubt whether they had a special room at all. I would not recommend this kennel.

DO NOT USE!

Our 5 month old puppy came home with a bacterial infection which the staff knew nothing about when we picked her up. Our puppy was in pain, lethargic and distressed - not to mention the scabs which covered the entire side of her face, under her neck and down her chest and legs. Anyone who even looked at our puppy could see the injuries yet the resort claimed to have walked her once a day, let her out to play four times and bathed her in the time she had these injuries. The vet has confirmed these injuries and illness was sustained whilst she was in the care of the resort yet we were never informed. We had to fight for the owner to reimburse our vet fees and he was nothing but rude, incredibly reluctant to speak to us or help and very condescending. They don't have the pets wellness or safety as a priority. I would avoid this centre at all costs!!

DONT LEAVE YOUR PETS HERE

Please don't leave your pets here, we picked up our cat after a week and she was skinny scared and had a bite on her leg that was infected! Just appalling, no one bothered to reply to my emails or phone calls, Kerrie the owner hung up on me when I called her to let her know what i discovered on my cat. Just disgusting!! We also paid for a better room but who knows where she was placed, who knows how they actually treat the pets. My poor car is on antibiotics. DONT CHOOSE GOLD COAST PET RESORTS!!!! They should be closed down!!!
