We’ve trusted Royal Rover with our dogs for well over 15 years, and the level of care has always been exceptional. Even when we’ve needed a last-minute overnight booking, Debby and Matt have gone out of their way to help and make the process easy.
One of the biggest signs of how comfortable our dogs are is how excited they get when we arrive — they can’t wait to jump out of the car and go in. Every time we collect them, they’re happy, healthy, and clearly well cared for.
Debby and Matt have extensive knowledge of dog breeds, behaviour, and general care, which is especially reassuring for us as owners of three French Bulldogs. We know they understand the specific needs of the breed and that our dogs are in safe hands.
The facility itself is always clean and well presented. They offer both standard and premium kennels, and we always choose the premium option for our Frenchies because the climate-controlled rooms keep them comfortable in all weather. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Royal Rover to anyone looking for reliable and genuinely caring dog boarding.

Yesterday my husband and I picked up our little dog after boarding her with Royal Rover for the very first time. Matt and the staff were so genuine and we immediately had a good feeling about leaving her in their care. They are such genuine people and we felt like with were leaving her with friends or family rather than a boarding kennel. This may have been her first stay with Royal Rover but it certainly won’t be her last. Many thanks to all the team for looking after our little one so well.

Debbie & Matt took great care of my 2 Cocker Spaniels (Molly & Banjo). They came back from their boarding happy and content.

Great Boarding Kennel
Boarded our Cavalier Spaniel here recently, very happy with the kennel and our dog was well looked after. Very friendly staff, would definitely recommend.
