Not happy!!
Absolutely disgusted in the treatment I got today have been a regular user of this dog kennel for 3 1/2 years now cool to confirm a booking and book in some of the treatment packages they have while my dog stay like I have every time I got greeted by a very grumpy scott the parent owner(apperently )
When I requested, if I could please book my dogs in for baths and the extra food requirements and experiences I was told that can only be done on arrival, Keeping in mind this was with a completely disgusting attitude from God knows what ( clearly having a bad day ) I then just asked why I wasn’t able to do this as this is something I have done in the past being a regular user of the kennel, He then got very aggressive over the phone telling me that’s just how it is. He doesn’t have to explain anything to me ranting on and on I said Mate you’re clearly having a bad day he said yep today’s not today to argue with me. I said I’m not arguing with you I’m asking a question as previously staff have said staff doing their job and I said why is that my problem. I then called back and requested a $300 refund for the deposits I had paid on my booking. He said if he gets time. I am actually in shock for the way I was treated today. I’ve never been confronted with such arrogant attitude and disgusting communication skills from an apparent owner and I will never take my dogs there again.

Welcoming
We have our greyhound stay with Hedgegrove semi regularly. They are always welcoming and she always comes home looking happy and healthy. As a dog that doesn’t particularly like change (or being away from her bed!) it’s particularly great to know we can send her here and she’ll be well looked after.

Well cared for
My dog, Bennie recently spent a week at Hedgegrove Pet Retreat. He was well cared for and I was able to also employ thier animal behaviourists to give him some daily mental stimulation to assisting in addressing a behaviour issue he has and he did a swimming session . My dog's mental health is just as important to me as his physical needs and this service i greatly value. The kennels are clean and comfortable and staff are friendly and knowledgeable. I am kenneling him again in December and highly recommend this gold star service .

Never again
Picked my dog after a week of board and she had a 20cent sized graze on her got and kennel cough. No wonder she couldn’t wait to get in the car. Worst of all no one said anything about it.

Happy & Healthy
Our two cats have stayed at Hedgegrove a couple of times now and always come back healthy and happy. They share a nice comfy room together.

Very Happy
Left our young dog and older cat over Easter and was very happy. Cattery had huge enclosures and they took extra measures for her being older. Our dog came home hapy and smelling lovely.

By far the cleanest and biggest cattery I have seen.

Guinea Pigs
This is my go to place to bring my pets! I have Guinea pigs and they seem to love it here. It is incredibly hard to find a reliable pet hotel for exotic pets, and this one ticks all the boxes! It is reasonably priced, my Guinea pigs are well looked after, and I never have a problem booking my boys in!
The staff here are excellent. I’ve put my Guinea pigs in here a few times now, and every time they get excited to see my boys, and make me feel reassured about leaving them. They happily answer any questions that I have and give me updates if I ask!
They also have an Instagram account @hedgegrove where they post photos of the pets they have at that point in time! It’s a real treat to see your pet on their page!
Highly recommend this pet retreat for any kind of pet you may have! They take anywhere from dogs and cats, to birds and lizards.
